Ai-RGUS was originally developed to make maintenance of Duke University's 2,000+ camera system easy. Verifying security footage quality and device performance was an overwhelming task, and inspecting hardware manually took over 4.5 hours every day. Recognizing this inefficiency, Duke's Chief Information Officer approached our CEO's AI research lab to create a smarter solution. The result? Ai-RGUS: an Artificial Intelligence system that automates checking system performance and device health, reducing the daily review time from hours to just five minutes. This original solution has been reliably running at Duke since 2017.
Since then, Ai-RGUS has grown into a robust, intelligent platform designed to detect operational problems, identify vulnerabilities, and automate problem resolution for entire security systems.
